But, more than that, I’m sorry because I could not have been more wrong. Yes, I’m sorry for being cynical because cynicism is egotistic and arrogant and never right.
Looking back now, I’m sorry I had been so cynical. “Yes, because she’s read every Christian novelist out there, putting her in a unique position to make an accurate assessment,” I replied, making sure my sarcasm was hardly thinly veiled.
